A Connecticut native and first-generation Afro-Latina, she is proud to represent her family in everything she does. Talia earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College.
She launched the National Tour of Les Misérables in 2017, understudying Eponine and Fantine, before making her Broadway debut in Dear Evan Hansen as the understudy for Alana Beck and Zoe Murphy. In 2022, she made history as the first Black actor to play Zoe Murphy full-time on Broadway, triumphantly closing the Broadway production's Tony Award winning run. Most recently, Talia appeared in the groundbreaking and highly acclaimed Tony Award Winning Broadway revival of Merrily We Roll Along as Meg Kincaid alongside Jonathan Groff, Daniel Radcliffe, and Lindsay Mendez.
Talia has started making her mark on television with notable appearances in hit series. In 2024, she joined the cast of Power Book II: Ghost in a recurring role as Elle, appearing in six episodes. She also guest-starred in The Equalizer in 2023, playing Lacey Young in the Season 3 episode “No Good Deed". Talia will be making her film debut this holiday season, followed by the cinematic release of "Merrily We Roll Along".
Committed to expanding representation on stage, she hopes to develop new work and inspire young actors of color to achieve their dreams as she continues striving for her own.
